A Guide to the New Website
We hope you are enjoying the new Wild South website. The new format allows us to interact with you in a variety of ways that we hope will enhance your experience and connection with our work and the wild places you treasure. Here is a quick guide to getting the most out of your experience on the website:
1) Share on your Social Networks
All of our posts also feature buttons to share the post directly on your social media sites. Please share our posts far and wide and help us meet new friends. Social Media is an important way to get folks engaged with us and to take action on our issues.
2) Take Action!
At the top of the home page you will see three icons below the scrolling picture. These icons include: A) “Voice for the Wild”, B) “Helping Hands”, C) “Support our Work”. These three sections make it easy for you to be involved directly with our work with just one “click”.
Voice for the Wild is where you can submit comments on projects, sign petitions, get involved with our campaigns, and take direct action to protect wild places. Our Helping Hands section provides you with all of the latest information on outings, and service projects you can be involved with to help steward our public lands. And finally the Support our Work section provides you with links to all the ways you can support Wild South, be it through donations, sponsoring events, or by shopping our store.
3) Leave a Comment
All of the posts on our website are open for you to comment on. At the bottom of each post you will see a section where comments can be made.
We welcome you to weigh in on our posts and let us know what you think. We love hearing from you and want you to engage in conversation with our growing community of supporters and friends.
