Alabama Wilderness Needs YOU!
This is “The Year of Wilderness” – and we need YOU!
Join me today to celebrate 50 years of Wilderness and support Wild South’s crucial work.
The Sipsey Wilderness Area in Alabama is one of the most spectacular wild places you’ll ever see- a treasure in Alabama with mountains, canyons, forests, streams, wildlife and more! We need your help to continue this important work.
Your contribution will match dollar-for-dollar a grant from the National Forest Foundation!
In Alabama, Wild South has created the Volunteer Wilderness Program that “keeps a watchful eye” over the Bankhead and Talladega National Forests – especially the Sipsey, Dugger Mountain and Cheaha Wilderness Areas. We need YOU to be a part of this network.
This is a huge responsibility and we work everyday to protect YOUR public lands!
Join Wild South today and your contribution will help continue our work and protect Alabama’s wilderness and unique Southern Appalachian landscapes.
Any contribution, $10, $20, $50 or more will make a difference.
Your support means a great deal to us and Alabama’s public lands. Thank you in advance for your continued support today.
For the wild,
Pat Byington, Executive Director
