This is the meeting originally scheduled for January 7 and postponed due to a water leak at the venue.

The next meeting of the Bankhead Liaison Panel will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Moulton Recreation Center at Alexander Park in Moulton, AL.  The Moulton Recreation Center is located at 13550 Court Street, Moulton, AL, less than one mile west of the courthouse square.

Wild South is a long-standing, active member of the Liaison Panel.  We encourage everyone who has any interest in our Bankhead National Forest to attend Liason Panel meetings, which are open to the public.  USFS Supervisor from Montgomery, Steve Lohr, will be at the January 21 meeting.

The meeting topics for the Tuesday, January 21 meeting include:
•           Horse Trail Projects
•           Friends of Clear Creek
•           Flattened Musk Turtle & Black Warrior Waterdog Project
•           Alabama A&M University Research Projects Updates
•           Forest Supervisor’s Address
•           Liaison Panel Business Items

    ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JANICE AND WILD SOUTH. I’M INTERESTED IN ALL THE MEETING IS ABOUT. I WOULD ENJOY THE PEOPLE, TOO. WEATHER PERMITTING, I JUST MIGHT MAKE IT OVER THERE.
