All Things Wild Earth Day Celebration! 4/13

Join Wild South for a day of celebration and adventure in honor of earth month!

Begin the day as Greg from NCLINEadventures leads us on a scenic guided hike to Sam Knob in the Pisgah National Forest. (RSVP required – please register at http://www.twinleafbrewery.com/wild-south to secure your spot!)

After the hike, join us back at the Twin Leaf Brewery taproom to enjoy some delicious beer and live music by Shabudikah, a high-energy, horn-driven funk band from Asheville, NC.

Taproom opens at 12 pm, with live music from 2-5pm. Join us for the hike or celebration…or both!! We hope to see you there!

RSVP required – please use the ticket link above to register. This hike will happen rain or shine (rain location TBD).

Hikers will meet at Twin Leaf Brewery at 8 AM, and we will carpool as a group to the trailhead. Greg from NCLINE will guide us up Sam’s Knob, a scenic and wild grassy bald located in the heart of Shining Rock Wilderness in the Pisgah National Forest.

The hike will be approximately 3 miles, and is rated as moderate with exposed roots and rocks, steep grade in sections, and muddy areas. Hikers should wear clothing appropriate for the weather, along with sturdy hiking shoes with adequate tread. Bring plenty of drinking water, and snacks/lunch! Trekking poles are optional, but helpful.
