Helping Hands Work Day

January 25, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Meet at the Wild South office at 8:30 or at the Randolph Trailhead at 9:00.

Come join the fun! We will be performing trail maintenance on trail 202 in the Sipsey Wilderness. Recent storms have downed several trees! We will be removing trail blockages and reestablishing a clear path for wilderness visitors.

Bring a small backpack with lunch, snacks, plenty of drinking water (or water filter); work gloves; a hardhat if you have one.

Wear clothes that are comfortable for hiking, appropriate for the weather, long pants, closed-toe sturdy boots.

We will provide tools, but if you have loppers or hand-pruners, please bring them.  We also provide hardhats and safety glasses for those who do not bring their own.

No dogs and no smoking, please, on Wild South work projects.

After signing up, meet the group at the Wild South office or at the trailhead by the times above.  Please let us know if you will meet us at the trailhead and include a phone number in your e-mail.

You MUST register through Kim Waites, kim@wildsouth.org
