Film Festival at the Princess Theatre, Dec. 3

The Road to Restoration: Our Path to a Sustainable Tomorrow

Monday, December 3

Wild South is proud to partner with the Princess Theatre Center for the Performing Arts and the University of Alabama’s Honors College in screening The Road to Restoration: our path to a Sustainable Tomorrow, an exploration of some of today’s most urgent topics about the environment and human impact on the future.

Presented by the University of Alabama’s Honors College Film and the Environment class, six short films have been selected to provide perspective. Topics will span from current activism such as a college student’s efforts to rid the ocean of plastic through the invention of an artificial coastline, to volunteers taking on illegal fishing in the open seas, to analyzing the belief of some that climate change is a hoax. The films will provide direction about where sustainability can go from here.

Please join us at the Princess theater on December 3.
