The Linville Gorge Wilderness Area in North Carolina is one of the most spectacular treasures you’ll ever see, boasting nearly 12,000 acres of mountains, canyons, forests, streams, wildlife and more! We need your help to continue this important work.

Your contribution will match dollar-for-dollar a grant from the National Forest Foundation!

In North Carolina, Wild South is one of the lead conservation organizations working on the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forest Plan revision. The “plan revision” will determine how more than 1.25 million acres of National Forest land will be used for the next 20 years. And our Volunteer Wilderness Rangers have been putting boots on the ground to patrol trails and remove invasive nonnative species from the Linville Wilderness.

This is a huge responsibility and we work everyday to protect YOUR public lands!

Join Wild South today and your contribution will help continue our work and protect North Carolina’s wilderness and unique Southern Appalachian landscapes.

Any contribution, $10, $20, $50 or more will make a difference.

Your support means a great deal to us and North Carolina’s public lands. Thank you in advance for your continued support today.

For the wild,
