Spring has Sprung!
Spring has finally arrived to the Southern Appalachians and the wildflowers are beginning to emerge. Yesterday in Tennessee one of our hikers snapped this photo with several different blooms. See if you can identify them all, answers below.
Answers: Trillium cunaetum (Toad Trillium), Erythronuim americanum (Trout Lily), Dentaria lacinata aka Cardamine concatenta (Cut-leaved Toothwort), and Anemonella thalictroides (Rue Anemone).
