Wild South Introduces S.O.A.R.
S.O.A.R. rehabilitates and works with non-releasable raptors to educate and inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of our feathered friends. Wild South provides environmental education opportunities featuring live animal demonstrations to schools across Western North Carolina.
Wild South is able to provide these “Wild Things!”programs free of charge through an outpouring of community support at our annual Mountain Wildlife Days events and with support from the Mary Grey Burney Trust and the Glass Foundation.
This year’s Mountain Wildlife Days events will be hosted in Asheville, TBD and July 20th-21st in Sapphire Valley, NC.
