  • AL Wilderness Rangers work in the the Sipsey, Cheaha and Dugger Mountain Wilderness Areas to maintain recreational access and solitude and improve the natural character of the wilderness by directly engaging volunteers to lend a “helping hand”. 
  • NC Wilderness Rangers work in the Linville Gorge Wilderness to combat the invasion of exotic plants and improve the natural character of the wilderness by directly engaging volunteers to lend a “helping hand”.
  • MS Wilderness Rangers work in the Black Creek Wilderness to connect with the community and improve the natural character of the wilderness by directly engaging volunteers to lend a “helping hand”.
