NOLICHUCKY RIVER – Wild South and the USFS Unaka Ranger District hosted a wilderness and wild & scenic river training for USFS staff and partner organizations.  The good folks that help make wild & scenic river protection possible got to come see for themselves just how worthy the Noli is of this special effort.  Shout out to Hawksnest Whitewater’s Osprey Nolichucky Outpost for getting all down the river safe, and for their many river cleanups together with Wild South’s Halley Burleson.

BYNUM BLUFF, LOST COVE LOOP – Linville Gorge and Lost Cove have been getting the love this summer while volunteers have been getting in some training with the big saws.
